LAST NIGHT

Q-Ads by Qumana

well, last night wasn't one of the biggest nights we've had, however it was still quite a bit of fun. We predrank watching the Leafs get pumped... so we played a little flip cup. If my memory serves me correct, we got pumped in that too. However we did rip through 12's in Gino's basement.

Then off to the bar, where I almost got kicked out when some broad working at Jacks through an ice cube at a bouncer and blamed it on me for some strange reason, who knows. Duva, Hanratty and myself took down a tequila shot, as per usual... but that was it for tequila the rest of the night. Then for some reason Duva and I left the bar in search of greener pastures.. and all we could find were rediculously long lineups at every single bar around town, so we ended up in some random pita joint.. then went and found some street meat, hailed a cab... grabbed Mcdonalds also, and went back to Ginos.

earlier in the day though, we played a football game. Hanratty, Sworth and I pumped Lenda, Tim and Duva by a score of 8 scores to 2. Then we took it easier on them in a second game, with the addition of two more players, and we lost 7-5. Good run aroudn, I was kind of upset we let the game get away from us in the second game, but it just showed that we are indeed human, won't happen again.

All in all, a decent night... not one of the most ruthless, but we had a job and you could say we got it done. We are the usual suspects, and we were up to our old tricks.

WHO CALLED OAKLAND BABY>>>> WHO DID...

Saturday, November 24, 2007

Well, after an uneventful Friday.. I get ready to show my moves on the football field. Before taking the trip up the 400 series highway, both number 1 and 3, to get to London. To get some more serious drinking done. I am going to work harder at staying away from the tequila tongiht, in hopes of remembering my night a little more. However, i'm sure by 11 o'clock, i'll be up at the bar with Tim ordering doubles to take down, and we'll be heroes for that very moment... i'm sure of it.
We are the envy of many, we really are. Co-workers are in awe of my weekly performance, and don't quite know how to process the amounts we can put down.
Some call us the weekenders, some call us the showtimers.... i'd like to call ourselves "the usual suspects" though. I'm really oging to lobby for that title, I really am.
Anyways, like the say, behind every good man is a very tired woman.

I'm gonna go get my started right, as they also say... breakfast is the most important meal of the day... thats why i'm going to skip it and make myself appreciate a good wendy's lunch that much more.

check back in tomorrow for the damage report.

I'm actually upset with the trash on the radios today. What are people buying, seriously. That Crank Dat song with that awful dance is sweeping the country... proving the stupidity of anyone who listens to it. Then theres the "party like a rockstar" song, by some rediculously horrible rap group.

But the worse band going today hassss to be Hinder, god knows who listens to that noise... the lead singers a drugged out mess who can't sing for his life, and has the worst, most annoying songs on the radio by far. Fall Out Boy should be strapped with cement shoes and tossed in the Indian Ocean, along with 50 Cents and Plain White Tees.

I would actually challenge someone to pitch a new band to me that isn't 100% garbage. Pretty sad that we have to wait for Zeppelin, the Police and Faith Hill to tour again.

tomorrow is friday, and i'm actually thrilled to rip through a 12 tomorrow, whereever we are.

Another Random London Night

A random trip to London, where me and Duva werent exactly welcome was one of the wildest nights I've ever been apart of.
So we roll up to London with misiak, lenda, and hanratty... go to some girls apartment without telling her that me and duva were coming, and we didn't know each other. So we start drinking, and enter into a scandalous game of 'never have i ever'... then PB shows up with his odd buddy, who i have no idea who he is to this day.
Well we get loaded, I don't really remember much about the bar, I believe it was Jacks. Anyhow... somehow all of us guys ended up together in front of her apartment later on in the evening, locked out. So, lack of a better thing to do, destruction ensued. There were mailboxes ripped off of houses, a foot through a window, pots of flowers in the middle of the street and so on. The girls finally return, and we go inside... they had no idea what went on before they got back. So we all go upstairs and had a good laugh... a few guys stayed outside and had a smoke. Well one of the girls who owned the apartment comes outside to catch one of the guys havin a piss on the porch. Needless to say she wasn't too thrilled.
However, to this day.. those girls had no idea what happened just outfront of their place

monday ramblings

I'm gearing up for what looks to be another possible London trip on the horizon, to get some serious drinking done.

Last night the Patriots pummelled the Bills, it wasn't even close. People are upset with Belichek's tactics, being a Chargers fan.. I have the unbiased opionion that it is the others team to try to stop the Patriots from scoring. I don't see why a team has to let up in the 3rd quarter because it is winning. Maybe in the late 4th quarter, or the entire 4th quarter depending on the lead, however I think people need to get over themselves if they think the Pats should let off the gas coming out of halftime.

On a sidenote, I've considered taking a few weeks off from partying heading into the Christmas season, I havent taken a weekend off from drinking since last Christmas I believe. It's taken its toll on me, mind you, I can really handle my tequila these days. Even venturing into multiple shots at a time.

My goal, is to be able to take down a triple by New Years, and that's how I'll ring in 2008.

Free Skate

Whats the deal with the free skate, and is it still going?
The free skate never made much sense to me, throw hundreds of people together on the ice, skating in an oval.. with really no purpose at all. The odd time someone would get hurt, or a few people would piss off the other skaters by having a race and bumping into other skaters.
Then there was the person who needed a chair to help balance themselves on the ice, and you knew noone gave that person any respect.
Then you'd have the intermission where you'd go to the vendors and buy junk food and soda, only to put back on the weight that it's assumed you went there to work off in the first place.

I just personally don't agree with the concept of a free skate, I'm not sure if its common anymore, but it shouldn't be.
